When your Pediatrician’s office is closed, Driscoll
Children’s Urgent Care is here for you. This Urgent
Care Center, the only center of it’s kind in Corpus Christi, dedicated
to caring only for children, treats all minor pediatric emergencies and
illnesses including minor lacerations, flu, asthma, runny noses, chicken
pox, shingles, rashes, as well as minor fractures and sprains. Our board-certified
pediatric physicians provide care for many illnesses and injuries on a
"walk in" basis (no appointment needed).
This facility differs from an Emergency Room by handling only minor emergencies
and illnesses. Additionally, if a patient needs more comprehensive care
than can be provided at the Urgent Care Center, they can be transported
by Driscoll ambulance to the main hospital campus for further evaluation
or extended care. When visiting the Urgent Care Center, patients will experience
convenience, as well as less expensive care.
