(Corpus Christi, TX) Driscoll Children's Hospital hosts patient "celebrities" for an autograph session straight from Hollywood! On Wednesday, September 24th at 3 p.m., the young VIP artists and calendar kids will take a walk down Driscoll's red carpet to unveil the 2008 holiday cards and the 2009 calendar "Clowning Around," which features Corpus Christi's own Clowns Who Care. The two projects are coordinated by Driscoll's Volunteer Auxiliary to fund college scholarships for patients.

This star-studded event will begin at Driscoll Children's Hospital, 3533 S. Alameda, on the red carpet and conclude, after the unveiling of the cards and calendar, with a chocolate milk toast and autograph session. "These children have been through so much," said Lizette Saenz, Driscoll Children's Hospital Director of Volunteer Services. "This is an opportunity to make them feel like the super stars they are."
