(Corpus Christi, TX) Crisp and juicy Red Delicious
and Golden Delicious Washington State Apples add so much to so many Fall
recipes. The Six Points Kiwanis Club is proud to sponsor the 24th Annual
Apple Sale, a benefit fundraiser for Driscoll Children’s Hospital’s
“Camp for All” camp for children surviving with cancer. The
event will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
in the hospital’s parking lot.
Saturday morning, an eighteen wheeler will deliver nearly 900 cases of
Red and Golden Delicious apples. Apples are $35 per case and can be purchased
from any Six Points Kiwanis member or by calling 993-6902 x 106. Walk-ups
will be welcomed but quantities are limited so presales are recommended.
Cash, check or credit cards will be accepted.
Throughout the years, Six Points Kiwanis has been instrumental in raising
over $250,000 for the children of South Texas with the Apple Sale and
Skeet Shoot among many other efforts. Their mission is to improve the
quality of life for children and families in the Coastal Bend area.
