DRISCOLL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

This is a community wide support group open to parents who have children currently under treatment for cancer. The group is family-oriented with parents, grandparents, caregivers, patients and siblings all welcome. The group is facilitated by a licensed social worker and a hospital chaplain. The facilitators are bi-lingual and the group welcomes both English and Spanish speaking parents. We have pizza, cookies and drinks along with separate activities for patients and their siblings. A one-time American Cancer Society service program designed to help women undergoing cancer treatment to learn to cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment and regain a sense of self-confidence over their lives. BREAST CANCER Support Group
