Kohl’s Cares for Kids
Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profits from the sale of special Kohl’s Cares for Kids merchandise to support health and educational opportunities for children in communities nationwide.
From coast to coast, Kohl’s partners with hospitals with the goal of improving the health of children in the communities we serve. Through this program, Kohl’s has provided nearly $60 million to support community outreach initiatives, including injury prevention, vaccine education, promoting healthy eating habits and more.
This Spring, Kohl’s is offering custom editions of books by renowned children’s author and illustrator Eric Carle, Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother Too?, The Lamb and the Butterfly (authored by Arnold Sundgaard), The Secret Birthday Message and From Head to Toe. Kohl’s is also offering exclusive mother and animal baby plush characters including a kangaroo and joey, sheep and lamb, golden retriever and puppy and gorilla and baby.
In the Corpus Christi area, Kohl’s has chosen Driscoll Children's Hospital as a beneficiary of the Kohl’s Cares for Kids program. Over the past three years, Kohl’s has donated more than $60,000 to Driscoll Children's Hospital to support community programs including Child Passenger Safety and an impaired driving go cart to educate youth to not drink and drive.
Kohl’s Department Stores introduced the Kohl’s Cares for Kids program to reinforce its commitment to the communities it serves and to promote children’s health and educational opportunities.
In addition to supporting children’s health and educational opportunities, the Kohl’s Cares for Kids program features a gift card fundraising opportunity for local schools and non-profit youth groups, the Kohl’s Kids Who Care™ program, which recognizes kids who contribute through volunteerism to their local communities, and the associate volunteer program, which encourages volunteerism to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
